Walking Toward the Sun with his short pants, smart sun hat, and lively gait, the new Blossom Boy from Wendt & Kühn celebrates the summer in all its splendor. The flower in his hands is like a real reflection of the sun and in German has the poetical name of Sun’s Bride. The boy has made himself very smart in a white shirt and a lime-green vest, but it’s his checkered pants that are the real eye-catcher. Real skill is required to paint this pattern: On a reddish-brown background, the skilled craftswomen from Wendt & Kühn paint fine lines in blue and yellow. Every brush stroke has to be exact to make the pattern complete.
 
The flower itself also draws admiring glances. Nine deep red petals bring the flower to life and attract the odd butterfly and bumblebee.
